Beyond High School Day - November 2, 2006 Mayor Morrissey set this Thursday November 2, 2006 Beyond High School Day in the City of Rockford. The Mayor is asking all area business to encourage their employees to wear college, university, trade or technical school spirit or logo wear that day. Our goal is to have all citizens that have went to school beyond high school to wear the colors or logos of those educational institutions, which will help create educational pathways for our community's youth and adults. Post secondary education is critical to building wealth and prosperity. To be competitive our community must set its sites BEYOND HIGH SCHOOL!
