January 11, 2008 Dear friend: It is with a heavy heart that we announce that yesterday evening, January 10, 2008, the Mayor's infant son passed away. He died in the arms of his mother, father and sister surrounded by family, friends, and their priest as his father sang to him. Details regarding the visitation and funeral Mass will be forthcoming. Mayor Morrissey said, "God blessed Stacy and I with Michael Joseph and he also blessed us with a loving community. Thank you for your prayers and support as they lifted us and carried us through this difficult time. We must pray for all parents and families who endure the loss of a child and we thank God for our time with Michael Joseph."
